Pohl Force

Die Quebec-Serie von Pohl Force ist ein klassisches Missionsmesser, das seit vielen Jahrzehnten ganz oben auf der Wunschliste von Gründer und Designer Dietmar Pohl steht. Im Jahr 2014 erhielt Pohl Force vom Originalhersteller die exklusive Erlaubnis, das Grunddesign für seine Interpretation zu nutzen.

Das als Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon entwickelte Mehrzweckmesser wurde in den frühen 1950er Jahren für das United States Marine Corps entworfen. Obwohl es nie offiziell eingeführt wurde, hat es seine Fähigkeiten im Vietnamkrieg deutlich unter Beweis gestellt, insbesondere in den Händen amerikanischer Spezialeinheiten. Fast 70 Jahre nach seinem ersten Entwurf stellt die moderne Pohl Force-Interpretation dieses Klassikers die perfekte Verbindung von klassischem Design alter Schule und moderner High-Tech-Produktion dar.

Der Designer Dietmar Pohl hat das Design des Quebec One überarbeitet und den Funktionsumfang des Messers erweitert. Die Klinge des neuen Quebec Two besteht nun aus D2-Stahl anstelle von Sleipner, der einen höheren Kohlenstoff- und Chromgehalt aufweist und damit die Schnitt- und Korrosionsbeständigkeit deutlich verbessert. Darüber hinaus hat Dietmar Pohl die Klinge des Klassikers noch einmal optimiert. Die neue Version verfügt nun über eine 10 mm längere Schneide und eine Nebenschneide am Rücken.

Außerdem wurde das Pohl Force Prepper System in den Griff des Quebec Two integriert, um Survival-Utensilien sicher im Griff zu verstauen. Ein Werkzeug zum Öffnen der Griffschrauben ist im Lieferumfang enthalten. Das neue Scheidensystem von Pohl Force ermöglicht eine deutlich erhöhte Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Die sehr aufwändige Scheide aus 2,5 mm dickem Kydex mit Gürteladapter und Beinschlaufe ermöglicht einen hohen Tragekomfort. Zur Befestigung an der Hand ist das Quebec Two mit einem Lanyard ausgestattet.
