WAKI XXV ANNIVERSARIUM LIMITED EDITION ist eine limitierte Auflage von nur 150 Stück, die alle Eigenschaften des berühmten Waki-Modells beibehält.

Bei diesem Produkt handelt es sich um eine Weiterentwicklung des japanischen Wakizashi-Schwerts, einer typischen Klinge mit einer Länge zwischen 30 und 60 Zentimetern, die die Samurai immer am Körper trugen, während das Katana ausschließlich im Kampf getragen wurde.

Die Klinge hat das klassische japanische Tanto-Profil und besteht aus Böhler N690-Stahl mit einer Wärmebehandlung, die die Härte auf 58 HRC erhöht und so eine optimale Kombination aus Schnitthaltigkeit und Festigkeit gewährleistet. Die flachgeschliffene Klinge hat eine feine Satinierung.

Der schwarz gefärbte Griff ist aus Forprene gefertigt, während die schwarz gefärbte Cordura-Scheide mit einem MOLLE-System ausgestattet ist, das garantiert, dass die sehr scharfe Klinge absolut sicher getragen werden kann und vor Stößen geschützt ist, die ihre Effizienz beeinträchtigen könnten.

Das WAKI XXV ANNIVERSARIUM LIMITED EDITION wird in einem IP67-zertifizierten, wasserdichten Polypropylen-Koffer mit Druckausgleichsventil geliefert, der gegen Witterungseinflüsse, Staub und Stöße resistent ist. Im Inneren befindet sich außerdem eine Metallplakette mit der Nummerierung der auf 150 Stück limitierten Serie und eine Gedenkmünze zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum der Extrema Ratio.

Jahrestag des Todes unseres Urgroßvaters Giuseppe Maserin, genannt "Belu" (1885 - 1972), eines Alpensoldaten des 4. Bataillons des Cadore-Regiments und der Kavallerie von Vittorio Veneto, wollten wir einen Dolch in der Art der "Arditi" herstellen, d.h. inspiriert von den handgefertigten Dolchen, die aus den ehemaligen Bajonetten der Carcano 91 Gewehre hergestellt wurden. Konkret haben wir uns von der Form des Bajonetts inspirieren lassen, das in der Fabrik CO.RI.CA.MA in Maniago hergestellt wurde.

Wir nannten es BeluM, indem wir das M unseres Nachnamens mit 'Belu' verbanden und so eine Anspielung auf das lateinische Wort 'bellum' erhielten. Es handelt sich um ein Projekt mit klarer historischer Inspiration, das jedoch mit modernen Maschinen, Technologien und Materialien realisiert wurde. Die schablonierte Holzkiste erinnert bewusst an die Merkmale der Kisten, in denen früher Kriegsmaterial gelagert wurde.

BeluM ist unserem Urgroßvater Giuseppe und allen Helden gewidmet, die in irgendeiner Weise ihr Leben für ihr Land geopfert haben.

Designed by David Repossini, instructor of Krav-Maga with decades of experience in martial arts and combat systems in the military, was founded with the purpose of joining a blade with a survival for the fight, trying to be more effective than high knives already in business. The result is the model Outlander, a tool that can be picked up and handled in six major ways and making it adaptable to different contexts.

It is effective both for heavy work, such as cutting of a branch, is for precision work, such as making out to light the campfire. In combattimentoè well balanced, maneggevle and forms that make it effective is to strike or engage, and to achieve the most sensitive parts in extension.

The variety of grips allows feasible to do many different techniques of combat systems also bringing together elements typical of the kukri and karambit.
