Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu ( Fukui Prefecture ) , a city located approximately in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades . His lab is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now , Takeshi Saji forges the steel (especially damascus) with which he made various models of traditional Japanese knives . The choice of material finishes (mostly natural ) , the essential lines - evocative use - and the color combinations of rare impact his accomplishments make unique and unmistakable in view of the cutlery world and at home , have earned him the prestigious title of Master .

Takeshi Saji - Kageboushi 150 Messer - Artisan Knife
Takeshi Saji wurde 1948 in Takefu (Präfektur Fukui) geboren, einer Stadt, die sich ungefähr im Zentrum Japans befindet und sich seit Jahrhunderten im Herzen eines Gebiets befindet, das sich der Herstellung von Klingen widmet. Seine Werkstatt ist immer noch dort und um den Ofen herum gebaut, dank derer Takeshi Saji seit einigen Jahren Stahl (insbesondere Damaskus) schmiedet, mit dem er verschiedene Modelle traditioneller japanischer Messer herstellt.
