Ein spezielles Messer, das mit Hilfe von erfahrenen Falknern und insbesondere Horst Niesters in den frühen 1970er Jahren entwickelt wurde.
Die Klinge wurde zum Zerkleinern von Greifvogelfutter und zum Abfangen von Wild, das von Greifvögeln bei der Jagd mitgebracht wurde, entwickelt. In der Mitte der Klinge befindet sich eine kleine, halbkreisförmige Kerbe, die dem Falkner signalisiert, dass die Klinge von der Spitze bis zu diesem Punkt geschärft ist; der Rest der Klinge ist zum Schutz der Greifvögel stumpf gehalten.
Das Falknermesser von PUMA ist sehr handlich und absolut praktisch gestaltet, was es zu einem zuverlässigen Begleiter bei der Beutejagd macht.
