I coltelli nilte vengono realizzati dalla combinazione dalle più avanzate tecnologie meccaniche e dalle mani esperte degli artigiani della zona. I punti focali che uniscono il pensiero nilte e i suoi collaboratori sono la passione, la voglia d’innovazione e la qualità, che da noi viene prima della quantità. Il nome nilte nasce da due parole che racchiudono lo stesso significato. Una è knife e l’altra è coltello. La parola che ne deriva ha un significato molto profondo. Da una parte è un modo per descrivere al mondo cosa fa il marchio e dall’altra la voglia di affermare le propie origini. Il logo è il frutto della stilizzazione delle lettere della parola nilte, in modo da richiamare il nome dell'azienda nel simbolo. Dall’unione della lettera N+i , si è sviluppato un simbolo astratto, surreale. Esso sviluppa un’immaginazione libera, che va oltre la realtà visiva di una semplice N e una i.

La filosofia dei coltelli nilte è rivolta allo sviluppo d'idee estremamente ecologiche.

Ridefinire nuovi standard è un lavoro molto impegnativo e pieno d’incertezze. Incertezze viste come sintomo primario del cambiamento.
